Launched in 1816, this beautiful collection of blue and white dinnerware
and dinner accessories has since become the pottery company’s signature
release, continuing to grace homes right up to the present day.

Made using the same time-honoured techniques of the 1800s, Blue Italian
adopts a detailed Imari Oriental border, a pattern found in Japanese
works. By contrast, this Asian frame encompasses a typical idyllic image
of the Italian countryside, as it would have looked when Blue Italian
was first launched. All of this is set against a crisp white earthenware
base, creating a perfect balance of these two colours.
